Choosing the wrong CRM is expensive, and hard to reverse.
Licences are the smaller half of the bill. The real cost is a year of poor adoption, a re-implementation, and the process debt left behind. This site sets out the options plainly, compares the market on a like-for-like basis, and says where each platform falls short.
Some links to vendors are affiliate links, and we may earn a fee if you sign up through one. Affiliate status plays no part in which platforms we cover, how they are rated or what we shortlist, and no vendor can pay for placement.
Implementing a new CRM for IPRS Mediquipe was a daunting prospect. It felt overwhelming to know how to cost each one, if they were in fact as good as they stated, plus the time and crucial importance of transferring and implementing the new system. But David made the whole process seamless. Conscientious, knowledgeable, and experienced, he guided us through various choices, weighing up the pros and cons of each CRM basing it on his impartial experience and on our needs. I am confident we made this incredibly important decision correctly. It's going to be a transformational and productive work shift for IPRS Mediquipe.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell CRM software?
No. whichCRM is genuinely vendor agnostic: we do not resell licences and we promote no particular product. To be straight with you, some vendor links here are affiliate links and we may earn a small commission through them. It changes nothing - not our coverage, not our ratings, not a single recommendation we make.
What does the consultation cost?
The first call is free. Beyond that it is a fixed-price process starting from as little as £500 + VAT, with the final figure depending on the number of stakeholders to be interviewed, the complexity of your process and how many platforms make the shortlist. You get the price before the work starts, not after.
How long does the process take?
One to two weeks from the first call to an evidenced shortlist in most cases, longer where a lot of people need to be interviewed or where existing data is in poor shape.
Is our business too small for this?
Probably not, but we will tell you if it is. For a team of five with a straightforward pipeline, the comparison on this site may well be enough - and we would rather say so on the call than sell you a process you do not need.
What if we have already chosen a platform?
That is a common and useful starting point. We can review the decision, sense-check the tier and seat count, and model the three-year cost before you sign - which is usually where the money is saved.
Can you implement the platform once we have chosen?
Yes. zedConsulting implements and develops CRM, and clients often ask us to carry on into delivery. Selection and implementation are separate engagements, though, and taking the first does not commit you to the second - we are equally happy to hand a shortlist to your own team or another partner.
